METODE PEMBELAJARAN PAI BERBASIS NILAI DALAM MENINGKATKAN MORAL SISWA DI ERA MODERN

Abstrak

The development of the modern era, characterized by technological advancement and globalization, has significantly influenced students’ behavior and moral values. Issues such as declining ethics, lack of respect, and increasing deviant behavior have become serious challenges in education, particularly in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). In this context, value-based PAI learning methods are essential as a means of internalizing Islamic values deeply. Value-based learning does not only focus on cognitive aspects but also emphasizes the development of attitudes and behaviors that reflect noble character in students’ daily lives. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to explore the implementation of value-based PAI learning methods in improving students’ moral values in the modern era. Data collection techniques include interviews, observations, and documentation involving PAI teachers, school principals, and students. The data are analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. This approach is chosen to obtain a comprehensive understanding of value-based learning practices and their impact on students’ moral development. The results indicate that value-based PAI learning methods play a significant role in improving students’ moral values. This is reflected in students’ behavioral changes, such as increased discipline, responsibility, and religious awareness. The strategies include teacher role modeling, habituation of religious values, and integration of values in every learning activity. In addition, support from the school environment and family plays a crucial role in the success of this method. Therefore, the implementation of value-based PAI learning methods is a strategic solution for developing morally upright students in the modern era.
