OPTIMALISASI MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER BERBASIS PENDEKATAN HOLISTIK UNTUK PENGEMBANGAN MINAT, SIKAP, DAN PERILAKU POSITIF SISWA DI SDIT

Abstrak

The results of the study indicate that the optimization of character education management is carried out through planning, implementation, organization, and supervision processes involving all school components, including the principal, teachers, students, and parental support. The implementation of character education is conducted by integrating character values into the curriculum, applying active learning methods, developing life skills, and fostering students’ emotional management. In addition, the development of students’ interests, attitudes, and positive behavior is promoted through extracurricular activities, character star programs, habituation of worship practices, motivation provided by teachers, and exemplary role modeling in accordance with the educational principles of Ki Hajar Dewantara.

The study also identified several obstacles, such as the influence of social media and the surrounding environment, limited learning resources, low student motivation, and inadequate religious facilities. To address these challenges, the school has undertaken various efforts, including improving discipline among all school members, providing supporting facilities and infrastructure, strengthening learning methods that motivate students, and continuously implementing character education programs.

Overall, the study concludes that character education management at SDIT has been implemented effectively through the collaboration of all school elements and the application of structured management principles. This optimization has had a positive impact on improving students’ interests, attitudes, and behavior, although further improvements are still needed in terms of facilities, learning resources, and environmental support.
