OPTIMALISASI KREATIVITAS GURU PAI UNTUK MENINGKATKAN MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK SMK NEGERI

Abstrak

The creativity of Islamic Education (PAI) teachers at vocational high schools plays an important role in enhancing students’ motivation and learning outcomes. Teachers implement various innovations in the learning process, such as using diverse teaching methods, selecting appropriate learning media aligned with the material, and conducting regular evaluations to assess students’ understanding. Students’ learning motivation increases through the teachers’ creative strategies, including providing fair assessments, giving rewards to high-achieving students, creating healthy learning competitions, administering tests after each topic, and communicating the test results so that students are encouraged to improve their performance. Additionally, teachers provide praise and positive reinforcement to foster students’ self-confidence. Students’ learning outcomes show significant improvement, evident in achievements across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains as reflected in their report card grades. This indicates that the creativity of PAI teachers not only influences academic understanding but also cultivates students’ interest in learning and positive attitudes toward the educational process.
