PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS DIGITAL TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR DI SMP TARUNA JAYA JATI AGUNG

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze the effect of digital-based learning media on the motivation and learning achievement of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) of eighth-grade students at Taruna Jaya Jati Agung Middle School. The study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design on 64 students divided into experimental and control classes. Data were collected through an ARCS model learning motivation questionnaire and an PAI learning achievement test that had met the reliability test. Data analysis used an independent t-test, N-Gain, Cohen's d, and simple regression with the help of SPSS 26. The results showed that the motivation and learning achievement of students in the experimental class were significantly higher than those in the control class. The N-Gain value of the experimental class was also significantly higher, and learning motivation was proven to have a positive effect on PAI learning achievement. The study concluded that the use of ARCS-based digital learning media is effective in increasing the motivation and learning achievement of PAI students..
