MANAJEMEN PENJAMINAN MUTU INTERNAL DALAM MEWUJUDKAN KEUNGGULAN KOMPETITIF LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN ISLAM MTS DAN MA TERPADU USHULUDDIN

Abstrak

This study aims to analyze internal quality assurance management (IQAM) in realizing the competitive advantage of Islamic educational institutions at MTs Terpadu Ushuluddin and MA Terpadu Ushuluddin. The study used a qualitative approach with a multi-case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations of IQAM activities, and documentation studies, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana model with a cross-case analysis technique. The results showed that the implementation of IQAM was carried out through an integrated PPEPP cycle between MTs and MA, covering academic standards, Islamic character, and educational services. The implementation of IQAM successfully improved academic quality, Islamic boarding school-based character building, cross-level services, learning innovation, and institutional reputation. Key success factors include transformational leadership, integration of Islamic boarding school values ​​with a modern quality system, a collaborative quality culture, and integration of services across levels. This study produced an Integrated IQAM model as a framework for developing the quality of multi-level Islamic educational institutions.
