PEMANFAATAN CHATGPT SEBAGAI MEDIA PENDUKUNG PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM: TINJAUAN PEDAGOGIS DAN ETIS

Abstrak

The development of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the digital era has brought significant changes to the world of education, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. One technological innovation that is increasingly being utilized is ChatGPT, which has the potential to be a learning support medium to help students obtain information, develop an understanding of religious concepts, and improve the quality of the independent learning process. However, the use of ChatGPT in PAI learning also raises various pedagogical and ethical considerations that need to be studied in depth to ensure its use remains aligned with the goals of Islamic education. This study aims to analyze the use of ChatGPT as a supporting medium for Islamic Religious Education learning from a pedagogical and ethical perspective. The method used is a qualitative research approach with a literature review approach, through the analysis of various scientific articles, books, and relevant research results in the last five years related to artificial intelligence, educational technology, and PAI learning. The results show that the use of ChatGPT can increase the accessibility of learning resources, encourage independent learning, strengthen critical thinking skills, and assist teachers in developing more innovative learning materials and strategies. From an ethical perspective, the use of ChatGPT requires adequate supervision and guidance to avoid technological dependence, misuse of information, and ensure the content's conformity to Islamic values. In conclusion, ChatGPT has great potential as an effective and innovative Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning support medium if used wisely, critically, and responsibly, while adhering to the pedagogical principles and ethics of Islamic education.
