PENGUATAN KESADARAN RELIGIUS MAHASISWA MELALUI TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL PEMBELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM

Abstrak

The development of digital technology in the modern era has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including the learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in higher education. Digital transformation in PAI learning is a crucial need to improve learning effectiveness while strengthening students' religious awareness amidst the rapid flow of information and technological developments. This study aims to analyze the role of digital transformation in Islamic Religious Education learning and its implications for strengthening students' religious awareness. The method used is a qualitative research approach with a literature review approach (library research) through the analysis of various scientific literature sources, books, and relevant research results from the past five years. The results show that digital transformation in PAI learning through the use of e-learning platforms, educational social media, Islamic learning applications, and artificial intelligence-based technology can increase students' access to broader, interactive, and contextual religious learning resources. In addition, digital transformation also contributes to strengthening the understanding of Islamic values, increasing spiritual reflection, and forming a religious attitude that is more adaptive to current developments. In conclusion, digital transformation in Islamic Religious Education (ISE) learning is an effective strategy for strengthening students' religious awareness, while still requiring lecturer guidance and strengthening digital literacy skills to ensure wise, critical, and Islamic-compliant use of technology.
