IMPLEMENTASI DEEP LEARNING DALAM PEMBELAJARAN PAI DI PERGURUAN TINGGI

Abstrak

The development of digital technology in the era of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 and Society 5.0 requires the world of education to adapt to various learning innovations, including in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) in higher education. One approach that is starting to develop is the implementation of deep learning in the learning process to improve the quality of students' understanding, engagement, and critical thinking skills. This study aims to analyze the implementation of deep learning in PAI learning in higher education and its impact on learning effectiveness. The research method used is a qualitative approach with a type of library research through analysis of various journals, books, and relevant scientific sources. The results show that the application of deep learning in PAI learning can create a more interactive, adaptive, and student-centered learning process. In addition, the use of artificial intelligence-based technology can assist lecturers in compiling materials, evaluating learning, and developing students' analytical and reflective religious skills more deeply. The implementation of deep learning also contributes to strengthening digital literacy, creativity, and 21st-century competencies without neglecting Islamic spiritual and moral values. However, the implementation of this approach still faces challenges in terms of limited technological infrastructure, educators' digital competencies, and the readiness of educational institutions. Therefore, a collaborative strategy is needed between universities, lecturers, and the government to support the transformation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning into an innovative and humanistic technology.
