Manajemen Pengembangan Kompetensi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam pada Madrasah Aliyah

Abstrak

This study examines the management of competency development for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at Madrasah Aliyah. The research aims to describe the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of PAI teacher competency development, as well as to identify supporting and inhibiting factors. Using a qualitative approach with a case study design at three State Madrasah Aliyah in Lampung Province, data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation study. The results show that the management of PAI teacher competency development is not yet running systematically and comprehensively, with key inhibiting factors being budget constraints, lack of leadership commitment, and limited need-based development programs.
