PERAN KEPEMIMPINAN TRANSFORMASIONAL KEPALA MADRASAH DALAM MENINGKATKAN MUTU PENDIDIKAN

Abstrak

This study aims to examine the role of the madrasah principal's transformational leadership in improving educational quality. The method used is a literature review with a descriptive qualitative approach to recent scientific references (2020–2024). The findings show that transformational leadership, encompassing four main dimensions—idealized influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individualized consideration—significantly contributes to educational quality improvement. Transformational madrasah principals are able to motivate teachers, build a quality culture, encourage learning innovation, and strengthen the commitment of all school members toward achieving the vision. The conclusion affirms that transformational leadership is the most relevant leadership style in the context of improving madrasah quality in the modern era.
