This study aims to analyze the role of organizational social structure in supporting the leadership of madrasah principals. This study is motivated by the importance of organizational social relations in enhancing leadership effectiveness in Islamic educational institutions facing demands for change and improving educational quality. The research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design conducted at a madrasah aliyah (Islamic high school). The research informants consisted of the madrasah principal, vice-principals, teachers, educational staff, and the madrasah committee, selected using purposive and snowball sampling techniques. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and documentation studies. Data validity was ensured through source triangulation, method triangulation, member checking, and audit trails. Data analysis employed the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data condensation, data presentation, conclusion drawing, and verification. The research findings indicate that the social structure of an organization plays a significant role in supporting the effectiveness of madrasah principal leadership through five key themes: legitimacy of leadership based on social relationships, open organizational communication patterns, a culture of deliberation in decision-making, organizational trust as social capital, and strengthening the collective performance of madrasahs. The research findings indicate that the quality of social relationships built through participation, collaboration, and trust can strengthen support for madrasah principal leadership and encourage the creation of a more effective educational organization. This research contributes to enriching the study of Islamic education management by confirming that madrasah principal leadership is a social process influenced by the characteristics of the organization's social structure. These findings also provide practical implications for developing policies and strategies for strengthening leadership in madrasahs
