TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL DALAM MANAJEMEN PENDIDIKAN ISLAM UNTUK MENINGKATKAN EFEKTIVITAS PENGELOLAAN LEMBAGA PENDIDIKAN

Abstract

Digital transformation has become a crucial aspect of developing Islamic educational management amidst the demands of technological change and increasingly dynamic societal needs. This study aims to analyze the implementation of digital transformation in Islamic educational management and its contribution to enhancing the effectiveness of educational institution management. A qualitative approach utilizing a literature review method was employed, analyzing relevant scholarly works on the digitalization of educational management, Islamic educational leadership, management information systems, and the effectiveness of educational institution management. The findings indicate that digital transformation can enhance the management effectiveness of Islamic educational institutions through the use of information systems in the planning, organizing, implementation, supervision, and evaluation of educational programs. Digital technology also accelerates information provision and processing, improves administrative transparency, facilitates communication among leaders, educators, educational staff, students, and parents, and supports data-driven decision-making. However, the success of digital transformation faces several challenges, including limited digital competence among human resources, technological infrastructure constraints, data security issues, and organizational cultural readiness. Therefore, digital transformation must be implemented in a planned and sustainable manner, grounded in Islamic values, ensuring that technology not only improves management efficiency but also strengthens the quality, accountability, and overall standard of Islamic education.
