Abstract

Improving the quality of education is the main goal of every educational institution. The learning management function is one of the key factors in achieving this goal. This study aims to explore the application of the learning management function in improving the quality of education.

This study uses a qualitative approach by conducting interviews with several school principals and teachers in several schools. The results of the research show that the application of learning management functions, especially planning and organizing, is very important in improving the quality of education. Principals and teachers who have good managerial skills are able to plan and organize learning effectively so as to achieve the desired educational goals.

In addition, the application of learning management functions can also increase student participation in learning and create a conducive learning environment. Teachers who are able to choose and use appropriate learning methods, and are able to facilitate interaction and collaboration between students, are able to create a fun and interesting learning environment for students.

However, this research also shows that there are still some challenges in implementing the learning management function, such as a lack of resources and a lack of managerial skills from school principals and teachers. Therefore, it is recommended that educational institutions provide training and managerial development for principals and teachers and strengthen available resources to ensure the effective implementation of the learning management function.
