Types of Manuscript

Journal of Integrated Natural Science (JINS) welcomes submissions in several distinct categories within the broad disciplines of integrated natural science, science education, and foundational/applied scientific fields. Every submission must adhere to the highest standards of scientific rigor, clarity, and publication ethics.

1. Original Research Articles

Original empirical research papers presenting novel findings, innovative methodologies, or integrative pedagogical experiments. Manuscripts must range between 4,000 to 8,000 words (including tables, figures, and references). Submissions must follow the standard IMRAD structure (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion) and incorporate a minimum of 25 references, with at least 80% drawn from primary peer-reviewed journal articles published in the last 5–10 years.

2. Review Articles (Systematic & Critical Literature Reviews)

Authoritative, critical evaluations of current research trends, theoretical frameworks, or bibliometric developments in integrated science and education. Reviews should range between 5,000 to 10,000 words and feature at least 40 references from leading scholarly literature.

3. Short Communications / Technical Notes

Concise, rapid reports on significant preliminary findings, novel laboratory techniques, or pedagogical software implementations relevant to science education. Word count must be between 2,500 to 4,000 words with up to 3 figures/tables and at least 15 references.

4. Case Studies in Science Education

In-depth analyses of pedagogical interventions, curriculum implementations, laboratory innovations, or eco-theological integration in science classrooms (3,000 to 6,000 words).
