The environmental crisis, particularly waste accumulation and ecosystem degradation, demands an educational approach that moves beyond academic mastery to foster ethical awareness and ecological responsibility. This study aims to formulate a conceptual framework for ecotheology-based Science Education to address environmental issues integratively. Utilizing a qualitative approach with an integrative literature review method, this study analyzed reputable scientific publications from 2021 to 2025 using documentation, content analysis, and thematic synthesis. Findings demonstrate that science education provides empirical foundations for understanding pollution mechanisms and ecological interconnections. Meanwhile, Islamic ecotheological principles—encompassing khalifah (stewardship), amanah (moral responsibility), and mizan (ecological balance)—offer essential ethical reflections for decision-making. The literature synthesis yielded a five-stage contextual learning model: environmental problem identification, scientific investigation, ecotheological reflection, solution formulation, and ecological action with reflection. This integrative model potentially enhances scientific literacy, ecological reasoning, moral consciousness, and sustainable eco-friendly behavior among students. Although offering strategic theoretical insights, this conceptual framework carries methodological limitations as it lacks direct empirical validation in classroom settings. Consequently, future research is recommended to develop operational instructional tools and empirically test their effectiveness in improving students' critical thinking skills and environmental actions in schools..
